Colfax – Randy Hinrichsen, 71, of Colfax passed away at 9:56am, on March 23, 2022, at Carle Bromenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.

Cremation has been accorded.

A Graveside service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Wiley Cemetery, Colfax. Pastor Glenn Matlock will be officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Ridgeview Athletic Boosters.

Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax is in charge of arrangements.

Randy was born July 26, 1950, in Anchor, the son of Ralph and Hazel (Taylor) Hinrichsen.  He married Nancy Center on September 25, 1976. She survives.

Also surviving are his son, David (Jackie) Hinrichsen of Colfax and grandchildren Reid and Brooke Hinrichsen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.

Randy worked in agricultural manufacturing for 45 years.

He enjoyed hunting and annual fishing trips to Minnesota. He was an avid Cardinal and Illini fan.

He has followed and enjoyed Ridgeview athletics for many years and most recently loved watching his beloved grandchildren participate.
