Ray A. Bahler, 34, Fairbury, died at 4:19 pm Saturday, June 30, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

His funeral will be 10:30a m Friday, July 6, 2018 at the First Baptist Church, Fairbury.  Burial will be in the South Apostolic Christian Cemetery, Fairbury.  Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and 9:30 to 10:15 am Friday at the church.  The family suggests memorials be given to the charity of the donor's choice.

Ray was born August 4, 1983 in Fairbury, IL the son of Steven and Elisa Cueva Bahler.  He married Kelsey O'Hare on June 21, 2014 in Hawaii.  She survives in Fairbury.

Also surviving are his children, Aubree and Hayden Bahler, at home, his father, Steven (Darlene) Bahler, Fairbury, mother, Elisa Bahler, Miami, FL, paternal grandparents, Marvin and Jane Bahler, Fairbury, maternal grandparents, Americo and Mary Cueva, Caracas, Venezuela, two brothers, Ryan Bahler, Forrest, Alan (Kylee Steidinger) Bahler, Strawn, one sister, Kelli Bahler, Urbana, three step sisters, Dawn (Matt) Stevens, Michelle (Tom) Davis, both of Bloomington, Erin (John) Lisak, Antioch, IL.

He is preceded in death his grandmother in law, Phyllis Hammer.

Ray was a graduate of Prairie Central High School.  He was an avid Chicago Bears Fan and volunteered for the Prairie Central Youth Football program.  Ray had a larger than life smile that could light up a room, a heart that open to anyone in need, and an insatiable laugh.

Ray loved his wife and children.  He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
