Fairbury: Raymond H. Brucker, 69 of Fairbury, died at 11:27 p.m., Thursday, February 8, 2007 at OSF St. James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center, Pontiac.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.
His funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 15, 2007 also at the memorial home in Fairbury. Burial will take place at the Cropsey Cemetery, Cropsey, IL with Pastor Lester Burguard and Pastor Daniel Aguilar officiating the service.
Ray was born September 17, 1937 in Fairbury a son to Harvey and Velna (Wright) Brucker. He married Esther Justice in Cropsey on July 29, 1961. She survives in Fairbury.
Also surviving are 2 daughters: Connie (Larry) Corey, Fairbury and Teresa Kay, Chatsworth, 2 brothers: Duane (Linda) Brucker, Cropsey, Keith (Lois) Brucker, Melvin, 2 sisters: Cecilia (Wilbert) Lee, Melvin, Linda (Clyde) Hudson, Elliott, 1 sister in-law, Marge Brucker, Danforth, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren with one on the way.
His parents, one brother and one sister preceded him in death.
Ray was a retired farmer in the Cropsey area and worked for PTC Alliance, Fairbury for 43 years. He enjoyed attending auctions, flea markets, working in the garden and spending time with his family.
