Obituary
Chenoa – Rebecca Grider, 78, of Chenoa passed away at 12:17am, August 27, 2011 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Rebecca's funeral will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, August 29, 2011 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Christian Ricker will be officiating. Burial will be in Chenoa Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice of charity.
Rebecca was born April 9, 1933 in Pontiac the daughter of Louis and Myrtle Street Ramsey. She married Edwin Grider on August 5, 1950. He died April 25, 2005.
Surviving are her daughter, Pam (Terry) Birge of Chenoa; her son, Ed Grider of Chenoa; 8 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 10 step-great grandchildren; brother, Marshall (Alice) Ramsey of Chenoa; and sisters, Dorothy Roth of Kansas and Ann Bush of Chenoa.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Norma Jean and Rebecca "Jane" Grider; five brothers; and three sisters.
Rebecca was a member of First Baptist Church in Chenoa. She retired from the Dress Factory in Fairbury.
