Richard Dean "Rick" Smith, 52, of Weston, passed away at 7:10am, April 20, 2013 at his residence in Weston.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Friends may greet the family for a celebration and sharing of his life from 5 to 7:00pm, Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Family of Richard "Rick" Smith.

Rick was born October 12, 1960 in Bloomington, IL; the son of James Clyde and Cecilia Inez (Tipsord) Smith. He married Tammy Linder on August 15, 1992 in Graymont. She survives in Weston.

Also surviving are his children, Nicci (Mark) Christensen, Amber Thurston both of Pontiac; Brian Gouchenouer of Weston; two sisters, Helen (Joe) Moore of Fairbury; Cathy (Mike) Dalton of Chenoa; one brother, Roger (Susanne) Smith of Fairbury; five grandchildren, Kyle, Korbyn, Darren, Jacyannah and Michael and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

Rick was a member of MARS Midwest Akita Rescue Society and HOG Harley Owners Group. He loved his Harley but above all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
