Richard L. Fitzgerald, 89 of Fairbury, died at 2:49 am, Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Advocate Bromenn Medical Center, Normal.

Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, November 11, 2019 at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Pontiac.  Memorials may be made to SELCAS (Southeastern Livingston County Ambulance Service).

Richard was born June 16, 1930 in Pontiac, a son of Gilbert and Monica Fitzgerald Hobart.   His parents and one brother, John Hobart, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his very dear friends, Rick Bauman of Pontiac, Lynn Dameron of Fairbury, Judy Ebert of LaCrescenta, CA, and Lois & Pete of Clinton.

Richard was a graduate of Pontiac Twp. High School and was a lifelong farmer in the Fairbury area.
