Richard Dale Miller, 83, of Arvada, CO; formerly of Chenoa passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Applewood Our House in Arvada, CO.
A memorial service will be held at 3 pm, Monday, May 8, 2017 at the River of Life Outreach in Meadows; with Pastor Jane Roeschley officiating. Private family burial will take place in Chenoa twp. Cemetery, Chenoa.
Visitation will be 3 to 5pm, Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the National 4-H Council (www.4-H.org) in Dale's honor of his lifelong involvement in 4-H, or charity of donor's choice.
Dale was born September 21, 1933 in Chenoa the son of Lester and Minnie (Roszhart) Miller. He married Ruth Mitchell on July 25, 1954. She passed away on September 27, 1989. His parents, 2 brothers, Frank and Joseph Miller, 3 sisters, Opal Bressner, Gladys Rutherford and Faye Graber also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his children, Patricia (David) Andrew of Tyler, TX; Mark (Debbie) Miller of Arvada, CO; Janis (David) Miller-Polley of Dexter, MI; Bradley (LaDonna) Miller of Hypoluxo, FL; Kaitlynn (Andrew) Audrain of Maryland Heights, MO; Mitch Miller of Manito, IL; nine grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Dale was a member of the Meadows Mennonite Church, Meadows and was active in 4-H as a young man and throughout life with his children.
