Chenoa – Rita A. Boles, 49, of Chenoa passed away at 2:19pm on October 24, 2011 at OSF St. Joseph's Medical Center, Bloomington.
Her funeral will be at 10:00 am on Friday, October 28, 2011 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa. Burial will be in Chenoa Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4-8:0pm on Thursday, October 27, 2011 also at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Rita was born March 7, 1962 in Pontiac the daughter of John and Lova Joy Tuning Konetski. They preceded her in death.
She married Steven Boles on September 9, 1999 in the Bear's Den in Chenoa. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother-in-law, Bernice Boles of Chenoa; children, Sasha Nixon, Jonja Nixon and Cheyenne Boles all of Chenoa; grandchildren, Ethan and Annibella; brothers, Chuckie, Eddie, Mike, Paul, and Don Konetski; sister, Alice, Sue and Janet Konetski and Sarah Pennington; and a large loving extended family of half brothers and sister and nieces and nephews.
Rita was a waitress for many years. She was with the Hen House in Chenoa for three, and worked the last 20 years at Chenoa Family Restaurant. She loved being a waitress and making people smile.
She was a very big Bears fan and loved surrounding herself with her friends at gatherings in her "Bear's Den".
Rita loved fishing, playing cards and gambling.
She was the very best wife, mother, sister and friend a person could ask for. She always thought about everyone else before herself.
