Anchor – Robert "Otis" Campbell, 68, of Anchor, passed away at 11:08pm, April 13, 2023, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Cremation has been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, April 23, 2023, at the Saybrook American Legion.
Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Robert was born August 2, 1954, in Rantoul the son of Ida Marie Jarvis Campbell.
He married Paula Butler on March 14, 1978. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Lloyd (Lyndsi) Campbell, Amanda (Jon) Campbell, Cassandra (Bobbert) Campbell, Kiley (Jon Madison) Campbell all of Anchor; grandchildren, Corey, Tristan, Kaden, Cameron, and Tanner Campbell; Payton and Braydon Campbell, Harlee-Lynn Campbell, and Kolton and Gage Patterson; great-grandchild, Amelia Campbell; sisters, Joyce (Johnny) Borcher of Rantoul, Janet Barker of Gibson City, and Jeannie Taylor of Gibson City.
Robert owned and operated All Veterans Roofing in Albuquerque, NM.
He is a veteran of the United State Army, serving in the Vietnam War and was a member of the Saybrook VFW and American Legion.
Robert loved being outdoors and working in his yard. He loved his kids and grandkids and will be missed.
