Robert "Bobby" E. Williams of Hammond, IN formerly of Fairbury, IL passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Pernie Jewel (McGuire); one daughter Deborah (John) Yager and one grandson Brandon Yager of Munster, IN; two brothers Byard (Ted) Williams; Oscar "Ozzie" (Carol) Williams all of Hudson. He was preceded in death by his parents Ted and Vivian (Runyon) Williams. Robert was a resident of Hammond, IN area for 55 years, a retired truck driver for Inland Steel Company, and a bus driver for Empress Casino in Hammond. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He served as a captain of Crime Watcher Beat 1 in Hammond and was a past master of Garfield with the Masons.
