Obituary
Robert E. Jones, 67, of Chenoa, died at 5:12am, Monday, October 27, 2014 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Cremation rites have been accorded with a memorial service at 4pm, Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Chenoa United Methodist Church, Chenoa.
Visitation will be 3 to 4pm, prior to services at the church on Saturday. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Jones was born on March 1, 1947 in Cleveland, OH; the son of William and Lillian (Schmidt) Jones. He married Shirley Wilk on May 20, 1977 in Cleveland, OH. She preceded him in death on September 30, 2006.
Survivors include one daughter, Sherry L. Kish, of Chenoa; three grandsons, Nicholas Helmick of Cleveland, OH; Jason Finney and Anthony Kish both of Chenoa; two brothers, Fred (Jan) Jones, Bill (Elaine) Jones both of Pontiac; three sisters, Dory Eskew, Christine Pearson and Lucille Drennan all of Cleveland, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Sharon Hoffer and one daughter, Alisha Helmick in 2006.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family of Robert E. Jones.
