Colfax – Robert Winterland, 89, of Colfax, passed away at 2:20pm, November 14, 2017, at Heritage Health, Normal.

His funeral will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Colfax. Pastor Corinne Blissard will be officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5-7:00pm, Friday, November 17, 2017, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax and 10-11:00am, on Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery or Alzheimer's Association.

Robert was born November 29, 1927, in Colfax, the son of Ben and Catherine Ficken Winterland.

He married Virginia Schroeder on January 21, 1951, in Anchor. She survives.

Also surviving are his sons, Darrell (Caroline) Winterland and Keith Winterland both of Colfax; grandchildren, Lisa (Todd) Jumper and Carrie Hoffman; great-grandchildren, Christopher and Emily Jumper and Nathan and Kylee Hoffman; sister-in-laws, Betty and Louise Winterland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Glenn, Dale, and Lowell and two sisters, Wilma Harms and Fern Smith.

Robert was a lifelong farmer in the Colfax area.

He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Colfax and McLean County Farm Bureau.
