Roberto Vicente Salinas, 36 of Fairbury, passed away at 9:16pm, Sunday, June 27, 2021 at OSF St. James, John W. Albrecht Medical Center, Pontiac.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, July 2, 2021 at Fairbury Baptist Church with Pastor Daryl Evans officiating.  Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.  Visitation will take place from 4:00-7:00pm, Thursday, July 1, 2021 also at the church.  Memorials may be directed to the Family of Roberto Salinas.

Roberto was born on May 21, 1985 in Pontiac.  Survivors include his father Paul Salinas of Pontiac; mother Mary (Martinez) Salinas of Fairbury; brothers, Paul Blackstar Salinas of Fairbury and Jerry (Alexis) Salinas of Dallas, TX; his children; Angel Salinas, Damian Salinas and Quan Easter and one step-son, Alex Garcia.

Robert liked to stay physically fit by running and working out in his home gym.  He was a fan of the Minnesota Vikings and enjoyed watching MMA.  He loved his boys dearly and was a great brother and was known as Uncle Rabbit to his nieces and nephews.  His beloved Pitbull, Vitor, greeted him into his heavenly home.  He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
