Robyn Brogan, 57 of Fairbury, passed away at her home at 11:00 am, Friday, January 4, 2019.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.  A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 pm also on Tuesday at the memorial home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Robyn was born November 22, 1961 in Fairbury, a daughter of Larry Schmidt and Ina Tjelle.  She married Howard Brogan on November 1, 2014 in Fairbury.  He survives.

Other survivors include, mother, Ina Tjelle of Springfield, IL; father, Larry (Linda) Schmidt of Mount Vernon, IL; children, Kelly (Scott) Henning of Schneider, IN, Douglas (Brittany) Vaughan of Fort Drum, NY, Kristy (James) Berwick of Crown Point, IN; step-children, Buddy (Shannon) Brogan of Forrest, Kayla Brogan of Pontiac, Debra (Justin) Alcorn of Arkansas, Krissy (Nathan Haab) Brogan of Forrest, Matthew Brogan of Pontiac; 6 grandchildren and 8 step-grandchildren; siblings, John Schmidt of Ransom, Amy (Jeff) Ward of St. Louis, MO, Donny (Keri Jo) Schmidt of Saunemin, IL, and a sister-in-law, Becky Schmidt of Bloomington; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Schmidt and a nephew, Casey Kohlmeier.
