Fairbury – Roger Duane White, 81, of Fairbury, passed away at 6:45pm, February 4, 2020, at Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community, Chenoa.

Cremation will be accorded following the donation of his body to the Anatomical Gift Association.  A graveside service will take place at a later date in St. John's Lutheran Church, Cemetery, Anchor.

Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross.

Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.

Roger was born July 12, 1938, in Towanda Township, the son of William and Leona Smith White. He married Doris Beecher on January 16, 1960, in Forrest. She passed away on June 15, 2011.

Surviving are his three daughters, Suzzanne Hughes of GA, Cindy (Kevin) Starr of Watseka, and Rita (Tom) Rathbun of Fairbury; one son, Bruce (Claire) White of O'Fallon; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Roger was the plant manager at Fairbury Ready-Mix and was a retired Teamster.

Roger was an avid Cardinal baseball fan!
