Obituary
Champaign – Ronald C. Hardy, 63 of Champaign, died December 9, 2007 at 10:10 PM at his residence in Champaign.
Cremation rites have been accorded with a graveside service to be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Wiley Cemetery, Colfax, IL. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax is in charge of arrangements.
Ronald was born March 25, 1944 the son of Everett and Frances (Shields) Hardy. He married Ruth Ann Goff in 1964 in Saybrook, IL. She survives in Champaign.
Also surviving are two sons, Chris (Leah) Hardy of Springfield, IL and E. Scott (Stacey) Hardy of Evanston, IL, one brother; Jerry (Nancy) Hardy, Belleview, FL, and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by both parents.
Ronald was an insurance broker and owner of Hardy Insurance for over 35 years.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
