Woody grew up in Chicago and graduated from Fairbury Township High School in 1949.
He is a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Starkey Road Baptist Church in Seminole.
Woody asked Christ into his life at age 34 and God has guided him in all areas these many years.
Woody was an avid Cubs fan and he loved to travel the world with his "soul mate" and bride.
His grandchildren and great grand-daughters were the joy of his life. Whether it be watching soccer tournaments they played in, spending time on the golf links, or just relaxing on the beach during yearly vacations. His family was first and he was so proud of every one of them.
