Ronnie Ryan, 65, of Fairbury, passed away at 1:53 pm, Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am, Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. A Military Inurnment will take place at a later date.

Ronnie was born July 11, 1948 in Fairbury; the son of Leslie and Wilma (Bracken) Ryan. He married Mary Valleroy on July 9, 1971 in Pontiac. She survives in Fairbury.

Also surviving are one son, Eric (Terry) Ryan of Phoenix, AZ; one brother, Larry (Vicky) Ryan of Sunset Beach, MO; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister and one son, Shawn Ryan in 2012.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society.

Ronnie was a retired Staff Sargent in the United States Marine Corp. serving our country in Viet Nam and Desert Storm.
