Rosa A. Wing

Pontiac — Rosa Ann Wing, 81, of Pontiac, passed away at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2026, at Accolade Healthcare in Pontiac.

Rosa was born on January 1, 1945, in Clarksville, TN; a daughter to Joseph H. and Willie Anne (Baggett) Black. She married Robert C. Wing on September 26, 1964 in Moose Heart, IL. Her husband Robert “Bob”, survives at home in Pontiac. Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death.

Other survivors include her twin sons, John (Cari) Wing of Aurora, IL; Robert (Kimberly) Wing Jr. of Suffolk, VA; a nephew, Donald Lloyd Black Jr. of Woodland, TN; seven grandchildren, Samantha, Jacob, Eric, Allie, Jessie, William and Nicole; 4 great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Brooklynn, Madison and Elon.

Cremation rites have been accorded with a memorial service to be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest at River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia, IL. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home in Fairbury is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Rosa enjoyed sewing in her spare time and enjoyed many years of alterations and sewing patches on numerous work uniforms in the Pontiac area. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, who will deeply miss her feisty but loving spirit.
