Chenoa – Rosaura “Rose” Seal, 77 of Chenoa, passed away at 9 p.m., Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at the ARC in El Paso, IL.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 am, Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday also at the funeral home in Chenoa with Pastor David Heath officiating. Burial will follow the service in Chenoa Township Cemetery, Chenoa. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Rose was born January 3, 1949, in Mission, TX; the daughter of Simon and Maria (Vasquez) Rodriguez. She married Larry Seal on November 24, 1969, in Pontiac. Her husband, Larry preceded her in death in 2023. Her parents and five brothers also preceded her in death.

Survivors include four sons, Daniel Rodriguez of Chenoa; Mike (Kristi) Seal of Mackinaw; Larry (Sara) Seal of North Augusta, SC; Eric (Angel) Seal of El Paso; two brothers; two stepsons; six grandchildren, Zane, Jordan, Haley, Faith, Jackson and Lexey Seal and her beloved dog "Bentley".

Rose had a fulfilling career as a CNA for more than 30 years. She began her career at Livingston Manor in Pontiac, where she was honored as Employee of the Year. She later retired from Meadows Retirement Community, Chenoa.

Rose was an active member of the Chenoa VFW Auxiliary and spent many years enjoying one of her favorite pastimes, BINGO. She rarely missed a Saturday night.

Rose cherished her friends and family. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly and treasured the time she spent with them. She will be deeply missed and remembered by all who knew and loved her.
