Obituary
Roscoe Edward McBride, 74, of Fairbury died at 8:05 pm Monday, April 21, 2008 at the Asta Care Center of Pontiac.
Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with the Rev. Mike Hillyer officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday with a I.O.O.F service at 7:00 pm at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.
Mr. McBride was born September 10, 1933 in Arapahoe, NE the son of Lloyd Clayton and Ana Marie Baker McBride. He married Shirley Jean Wagenseller on July 11, 1953 in Liberty, IN. She preceded him in death on December 3, 2000.
Surviving are several nieces & nephews
He is preceded in death by two brothers.
Mr. McBride farmed from 1963 until his retirement in 1995. He also had been employed at Pittsburgh Tube and Honegger Feeds, both in Fairbury. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Fairbury, the American Agriculture Movement, the I.O.O.F. Lodge #290, Fairbury and the Livingston County Farm Bureau.
The family suggests memorials be given to the I.O.O.F. Lodge #290, Fairbury.
