Fairbury – Rosemary Hoffman, 89, of Fairbury, passed away at 9:02am, October 1, 2015 at her residence.
Her funeral will be held at 10:00am, Monday, October 5, 2015 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be held from 3-7:00pm, Sunday, October 4, 2015 also at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Monday.
Memorials may be made to American Lung Association.
Rosemary was born September 13, 1926, in Pinkstaff, IL, the daughter of Hobart and Carrie Miller Crouch.
She married Ralph E. Hoffman on Jul 7, 1944 in Belleville. He passed away on January 13, 2001.
Surviving are her daughter, Marjorie (Martin) Meister of Fairbury; sons, Ronald (Brigitte) Hoffman of Bloomington and Jerry (Caryl) Hoffman of Fairbury; ten grandchildren, James (Rita) Meister, Marsha (Bob) Slagel, Pamela Gomez, Susan Deck, Lori Hoffman, Laura (Matt) Brauman, Jennifer (Mark) Ward, Sharon Bachman, Becky Young, Kate (Luke) Fehr; and 24 great-grandchildren.
With her husband Ralph, Rosemary owned and operated Hoffman Tool and Die and Technical Metals, retiring in 2001.
She was a member of the Elks Club in Pontiac and Indian Creek Country Club, Fairbury.
What brought Rosemary the greatest joy was having her grandchildren and great-grandchildren surrounding her.
