Obituary
Colfax – Ruby F. Wach, 70, of Colfax passed away at 7:05am, May 7, 2010 at her residence.
Cremation has been accorded. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Ruby was born July 28, 1940 in Newton, IL the daughter of John Edward and Viola May Heady Dow.
She married Charles Terry Wach in 1967 in Bloomington. He survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Donald (Wendy) Chesscher of Elberta, AL, James (Leslie) Chesscher of San Antonio, TX, Michael Chesscher of Kansas City, MO, Bryan (Tammy) Wach of Springfield, IL; two daughters, Stormy Wach and Karen Wach both of Petersburg, IL; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Maynard (Odette) Dow of AZ; three sisters, Lorena Surratt of Bloomington, Donna Griffin of IA, and Norma (Jim) McWhorter of Newton, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister and two children.
Ruby last worked for 12 years at Ridgeview High School. She was a member of Berean Baptist Church in Alabama.
She loved playing BINGO. She also loved and was the luckiest at the slot machine.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Cancer Society in Memory of Ruby Wach.
