Obituary
Ruth Marie Reid, 92, a resident of Greenbrier Healthcare Center, Piper City and formerly of Fairbury died 7:25 pm Sunday, July 15, 2007 at the Healthcare Center.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday, July 20, 2007 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with Professor Peter Worrall of the Moody Bible Institute officiating. Burial will be at the Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury. Visitation will be 1:00 to 1:45 pm Friday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.
Mrs. Reid was born March 14, 1915 at Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Frank and Marie Jenner Camp. She married George Edward Reid at Chicago, IL. He died June 30, 2004.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by one sister and one nephew.
Mrs. Reid received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the Municipal University of Wichita in 1940. In 1964 she graduated from the Moody Bible Institute, Chicago. She was a homemaker and was an Editor of Sunday School material for the Scripture Press, Wheaton. She was a member of the Moody Memorial Church, Chicago for more than 60 years.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Moody Bible Institute.
