Strawn – Scott D. Anglin, Sr, 60, of Strawn, passed away at 6:40pm, September 14, 2013 at his residence.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00pm, Friday, September 20, 2013 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. Pastor Daryl Evans will be officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5-7:00pm also on Friday at the funeral home.

Cremation will be accorded following the services.

Scott was born December 18, 1952 in Michigan, the son of Raymond and Mary Carter Anglin.

Surviving are his children; Mary Carls of Fairbury, Scott (Valerie) Anglin, Jr of Thomson, Ryan (Nicole) Anglin of Boynton Beach, FL, Nick Anglin and Jacob Anglin both of Strawn; nine grandchildren; sisters, Linda Steidinger and Jackie Felts both of Fairbury, brother, Billy Anglin of Jackson; several nieces and nephews and the mothers of his children, Patricia Kuhse, Cathy Czaruk, and Deb Anglin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Ron Anglin and one sister, Donna Baker.

Scott was a tile ditch man and a dishwasher at McDonald's in Fairbury.

Scott loved his family and loved his friends as family.

This loving and caring man will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
