Sharna Mae Reif, 59, of Decatur formerly of Chenoa, went home to her Heavenly Father at 7:29 am, Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur.

Memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Decatur on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 9:30am to 10:30am followed by a visitation from 1 to 2:45 pm, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa. Graveside Services will be 3 pm, at Chenoa Township Cemetery, Chenoa.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family of Sharna M. Reif.

Sharna was born November 27, 1958 in Streator the daughter of Arnold and Sharon (Davis) Shawback. She married Russell Reif on December 11, 1982 in Meadows.

She leaves behind Her Husband Russell of Decatur; Two sons, Andrew (Tiffany) Reif of Las Cruces, NM; Timothy (Alyssa) Reif of Decatur; one daughter, Rebecca (Tyler) Fraze of Decatur; her father, Arnold (Judy) Shawback of Wayne City, IL; her siblings, Paul (Ethel) Shawback of Bloomington; Twin sister, Sharon (Frank) Schneider of Kenosha, WI; Robin Shawback of Alton; Gary (Gina) Shawback of Pontiac; Margaret Shawback of Alton; Rodney Shawback of Chenoa; Julie (Doug) Banton of Cerro Gordo; and five grandchildren.

Her mother, Sharon (Davis) Shawback, sister, Alice Marie Shawback, and a daughter-in-love, Casey preceded her in death.

Sharna lived a life devoted to serving Jesus Christ by serving others. She had a passion for cooking & was a Master Gardener. She was well known for serving her community by both sharing her knowledge through teaching & giving of the fruits of her labor.  Sharna was a prayer warrior and she will be deeply missed by those who knew her and loved her.
