Forrest – Sheila Doran, 62, of Forrest, passed away at 5:33 pm, Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Accolade Healthcare of Pontiac.

Visitation will be from 4-7 pm, Tuesday, November 26th, 2024, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Prairie Central Youth Football.

Funeral services will be 11am, Wednesday, November 27th, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Fairbury, with Pastor Brian King officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.

Sheila was born July 26, 1962, in Fairbury; the daughter of William and Sonja (Boles) Scott Jr.  She married Joseph Doran on October 30, 1982, in Fairbury. Her husband, Joe, survives in Forrest.  Her parents preceded her in death.

Other survivors include her children, Kenzie (Brandon) Burke of Forrest; Colin (Kelsey) Doran of Bourbonnais; two adored grandchildren; Tracen and Joey Burke both of Forrest; and numerous extended family members and close friends.

Sheila was a 1980 graduate of Fairbury-Cropsey High School.  She loved spending time at various events with her kids and grandkids such as sports and family vacations.  She also enjoyed shopping. Her favorite time of the year was Thanksgiving through Christmas. She loved going Black Friday shopping with her daughter Kenzie, and having an annual cookie baking day before Christmas with the family.
