Pontiac – Shelly Marie Green, 61 of Pontiac, passed away at 7:57 am, on Friday, February 28, 2025 at OSF St. James-John Albrecht Medical Center, Pontiac.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A visitation for friends and family will be from 5 to 7 pm, Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa. Interment will take place at a later date in Chenoa Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Authentic Church in Pontiac.

Miss Green was born May 8, 1963 in Pontiac; a daughter to James and Yvonne (Huxtable) Miller. Her parents and two brothers, Greg Miller and Jeff Miller preceded her in death.

Other survivors include Shelly's favorite aunt Bonnie Marcin of Streator, one brother, Brian (Amber Marx) Miller of Pontiac; one sister, Marti (Marshall) Ryan of Bloomington; step-father, Samuel Crull of Chenoa; nieces and nephews, Desirae Bird, Latosha (Marty) Brewster, Bradley (Emily) Miller, Brittney Miller, Mariah Potter, Samantha (Lester Alcorn) Miller, Devin Ryan, and Kyra Miller and many distant nieces and nephews.

Shelly also had a half-sister, April Thompson who survives. Shelly also had a step-brother and many step-sisters in her lifetime.

Shelly loved to listen to country music and she did not know a stranger! She had many friends and a lot of family all of which she enjoyed spending time with.

Shelly was not blessed with any children, but she loved and adored her nieces and nephews! Her most recent hobbies were meeting with her friends to play games and going to church.
