Chenoa: Shirley Ann Deputy, 69 of Canton, IL, formerly of Chenoa, died at 3:39 P.M., Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.

Mrs. Deputy was born December 28, 1936 in Chenoa, a daughter to Frank and Susie (Morgan) Mason. She married Roy W. Deputy October 12, 1968 in Pontiac. He died March 3, 1997.

Surviving are one son; Eldon"Butch" Murray, Lithia, FL, one daughter; Tina (Dave) Hall, Carthage, MS, one step-son Tom Deputy, Peoria, IL, three sisters; Rose Murray, Cleveland, TN, Lillian Davis, East Peoria, IL, Sharon (Duane) Shaw, Littleton, IL, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 pm, Friday, December 8, 2006 at the Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa.

Her funeral will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa with the Rev. Frank Shaw officiating. Her Burial will take place in Chenoa Cemetery, Chenoa, IL.

Her parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister preceded her in death.

The family suggests that memorials be directed to American Diabetes Association and the American Heart Association.

Shirley was a member of Chenoa United Methodist Church, Chenoa. Royal Neighbors #90, Canton, Gold Star member of American Legion Auxiliary #174, Forrest, IL. She loved her family and the life she lived.
