Fairbury: Shirley A. Luttrell, 67, Fairbury died at 6:30 pm, Thursday, July 12, 2007 at her residence in Fairbury with her family by her side.

Her visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 pm, Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and 12:15 to 12:45 pm prior to the service on Sunday at the church.
Funeral service is 1:00 pm, Sunday, July 15, 2007 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury with Pastor Tom Krieger officiating the service. Burial will take place at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery, Fairbury.

Shirley was born September 16, 1939 in Fairbury, a daughter to C. Edward and Amelia (Metz) Zimmerman. She married John A. Luttrell Jr. in Fairbury on May 9, 1964, he survives in Fairbury.

Also surviving are two daughters; Lisa (Dan) Gordon, Rock Falls, IL , Vicki Harmon, Fairbury, four grandchildren; Cody Harmon, Fairbury, D.J., Branden and Jessica Gordon all of Rock Falls, two Brothers; Melvin (Ardella) Zimmerman, Fairbury, Maurice (Joy) Zimmerman, Forrest, and four sisters; Mary Ellen Nylander, Fairbury, Arlene Walter, Fairbury, Alene (Bob) Perkins, Normal and Donna Gadberry, Fairbury.

Her parents, 1 sister Evelyn Rigsby and one brother Edward Zimmerman preceded her in death.

Shirley was a 1957 graduate of Fairbury-Cropsey H.S. She was employed for over 39 years as office manager for Keck's Agency Inc., Fairbury until retirement in January of 2005. Mrs. Luttrell was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury, Fairbury Jayettes, WELCA, several card clubs and bowling leagues. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends who will miss her deeply.

The family suggests memorials be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury, SELCAS, Fairbury or Community Cancer Center, Normal.
