Kankakee – Shirley Miller, 35, of Kankakee, passed away at 1:05pm, February 11, 2021, at her residence.

Cremation has been accorded.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Shirley was born May 29, 1985, in Terre Haute, IN the daughter of Albert and Kathy Hoopingarner Elkins, Jr.

Surviving are her mother, Kathy (Johnny) Schmidtgall of Fairbury; father, Albert Elkins, Jr of Terre Haute, IN; children, Jude Meints and Deseree Vohwinkel; maternal grandfather, Glenn Hoopingarner; paternal grandmother, Mary Schmidtgall, and paternal grandfather, Albert Elkins, Sr; sister, Michelle Schmidtgall of Fairbury and brother, Brian Dunkley of Terre Haute, IN.

Shirley enjoyed time spent with her many friends, but the love of her life was her children.
