Chenoa – Shirley Lee White, 83, of Chenoa, passed away at 6:50 pm, Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be 7 pm, Monday, April 1, 2019 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa; with Pastor David Heath officiating.

A visitation with her family will be 5 to 7 pm, prior to her memorial service also at the funeral home in Chenoa on Monday.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family of Shirley Lee White.

Shirley was born August 30, 1935 in Chenoa; a daughter to Lee and Nancy (Pickett) Newkirk.  She married Franklin "Cubby" White on November 7, 1958 in Chenoa.  Her husband Cubby preceded her in death in 2010.  Her parents and 2 sisters, Mary Newkirk and Dorothy Tollensdorf also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her two sons, Mark (Carol) White and Gary White both of Chenoa; two grandchildren, Dustin White of Chenoa; and Morgan White of Carbondale.
