Pontiac- Stephen L. Starke, 45, of Pontiac, passed away at 5:06pm, March 15, 2024, at his stepfather's residence.

His funeral will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the First Baptist Church in Fairbury. Pastor Brian King will be officiating. Cremation will be accorded following the services.

Visitation will be held from 9-11:00am, Tuesday, March 19, 2024, also at the church.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Stephen was born August 26, 1978, in Olean, NY, the son of Stephen Starke and Janice (Wilber) Wiles. He married Marisol Vazquez on October 31, 2020, in Pontiac. She survives.

Also surviving are his father, Stephen (Linda) Starke of E. Aurora, NY; step-father, James Wiles of Chatsworth; children, Kenden Starke and Alexander Starke both of Chatsworth; siblings Solitare (Stephen) Williams of Spotsylvania,VA, Dakota (Sarah) Wiles of Chenoa, Angela (Erik) Leman of DeKalb, James (Destiny) Wiles of Pekin, Abby (Wayne) Mauer of Forrest, Stephanie Starke of Cheektowanga, NY, and Krystal Starke of Cheektowanga, NY.

He was preceded in death by his mother and brother Jan "Austin" James Wiles.

Stephen last worked for LSC Communications in Pontiac. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Fairbury.

Stephen had a talent for smoking meat. He enjoyed listening to music and a good thunderstorm.
