Fairbury – Steve Bingham, 55, of Fairbury, died April 8, 2008 at 2:30PM at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2008 from 10-11:00AM at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. Funeral will also be held on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chenoa Cemetery.
Steve was born November 4, 1952 in Fairbury the son of Charles and Vivama Bisig Bingham. They preceded him in death.
He married Janet Bailey on February 9, 1975 in Fairbury. She survives. Also surviving are his children, Melanie (Jesse) Bollman of Fairbury, Christie (Andrew) Hallam of Chenoa, Teresa (James) Dinoffri of Pontiac, Stephanie Bingham and Jacob Bingham both at home; seven grandchildren; and one sister Sheryl (Harold) Martin of Fairbury.
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter Jessica Bollman.
Steve was a truck driver for 20 years. He worked for Hall, Crego and Brunton Trucking.
He is a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of the VFW in Pontiac.
Steve loved playing with his grandchildren, his collection of matchbox cars, and playing BINGO.
The family suggests that Memorials may be made to the donor's choice of charity.
