Obituary
Fairbury – Steven E. Steidinger, 55, of Fairbury passed away July 23, 2010 at his residence.
Cremation has been accorded.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Fairbury. Pastor Steve Anderson will be officiating. Private burial will take place in Forrest Cemetery.
Friends may greet the family from 5-7:00pm on Wednesday at the church.
Steven was born November 10, 1954 in Fairbury the son of William Eugene and Alice Nash Steidinger.
His mother survives in Fairbury. Also surviving are three children, Grace, Spencer and Jacob Steidinger of Cullom; sister, Vicki (Rick) Bane; brothers, Doug (Jeri) Steidinger of Forrest, Vernon (Kim) Steidinger of Cooksville, and Rick (Amy) Steidinger of Fairbury; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Steven was currently a truck driver of Neilson Grain and had previously worked for R.R. Donnelley in Pontiac for more than 25 years.
Steven was an avid NASCAR fan.
He lived his live for his children and centered his life around them.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to his children.
