Colfax – Steven C. Wilburn, 63, of Colfax, passed away at 4:50pm, May 26, 2024, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

Cremation has been accorded.

Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice of charity.

Steven was born November 12, 1960, in Bloomington the son of Vernon Charles and Margaret Phyllis (Sheehan) Wilburn.

He married Artie Stanley on February 10, 2012. She survives.

Also surviving are his parents Chuck and Phyllis Wilburn of Bloomington; children, Misty (Blake) Wiles, S. Troy (Laya) Wilburn, Courtney (Duane) Carey, and Ashley (Brandon) Daugherty all of Bloomington; step-children, Melissa (Blake) Martin of Eureka, Justin (Amanda) Showens of Pekin, Jessica (Erin) Goodman of Stanford, and Michael (Kayla) Griffieth of NC; 14 grandchildren; siblings, Mike (Alisa) Schwarzentruber of Normal, Sue (Dean) Glesing of Bloomington, Kevin Wilburn of Bloomington, and Sheila (Teddy) Kletz of Bloomington.

He was preceded in death by one grandchild.

Steven last worked for Mechanical Devices in Bloomington.

Steven was a Jack of All Trades. He could fix or figure out a way to make anything work. He is the guy you could call for help with anything.
