Susan Alice Watts passed away on March 22, 2011. Her passing concludes the life of a women who gave unconditional, pure love to everyone she met. Susan had lived in Washington State since leaving Forrest. She was born in Phoenix, AZ to Harry and Mae Watts.
Susan enjoyed each day of her life to the fullest. While growing up in Arizona she attended special education classes, and enjoyed participating in Special Olympics. When she returned to Forrest with her mother, she was a client at Futures Unlimited in Pontiac. In Washington she enjoyed volunteering on a daily basis at a childcare center in Forks.
Susan enjoyed crafts, especially making pot holders. Her true joy was sharing her sense of humor and time with her family and friends. Susie lived surrounded by friends, for she knew no strangers.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, Harry Watts; her mother, Mae (DeMoss) Watts and her grandparents, Russell and Julia Twitchell.
Susie leaves behind her sister, Bea (Watts) Young and her brother-in-law, Tom Young. She also is survived by her nephews, Jeremy and Jonathan Young, her aunts Bea Tetley of Fairbury, and Mary Watts of Columbus, Ohio. She will also be deeply missed by many cousins and special friends.
A celebration of Susan's life was held in Forks, Washington.
A memorial service for Susan will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at her graveside at Forrest Cemetery. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of local arrangements.
God blessed Susie with a full life. She will live forever in our memories and in our hearts.
