Obituary
Colfax – Sydney A. Harris, 60, of Colfax passed away March 1, 2010 at 2:52am at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, March 8, 2010 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax.
Private burial will be in Wiley Cemetery, Colfax.
Sid was born August 22, 1949 in Bloomington the son of Kenneth and Verla Lukenbill Harris. They preceded him in death.
He is survived by one sister, one brother, two nieces and one nephew.
Sid worked with ESDA for many years and was also a member of the Ambulance Association board for 10 years.
Sid loved the outdoors going fishing, camping and 4-wheeling.
He also enjoyed time spent with his friends playing paintball and shuffleboard.
In recent years you could find Sid out mowing, plowing snow or driving the timber looking for deer.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the Eastern McLean County Ambulance Association.
