Tammy Lynn Smith, 55 of Colfax, died at 6:30pm, Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at her residence.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Life will take place at 3:00pm, Monday, September 2, 2019 at the Colfax American Legion.  A graveside service will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Wiley Cemetery, Colfax.  Memorials may be made to the family of Tammy Lynn Smith.

Tammy was born October 30, 1963 at Memorial Hospital in Michigan City, Indiana.

Survivors include one son, Robert A. (Tracey) Knorr of Colfax; three daughters, Patrice (Herschel) Mims of Carriere, MS, Portia (David) Vandegraft and Christina Smith both of Colfax; one sister, Teri Reynolds of Colfax; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty J. Knorr and father, Robert L. Knorr; her two brothers, Thomas Collins and Timothy Lauderdale; and the love of her life, Kent Hereford.

Tammy was a proud supporter of the U.S. Navy having several family members proudly serve and was an avid fan of NASCAR driver Jimmy Johnson.
