Other survivors include one son, Dennis (Sarah) Bull of Norwalk, IA; one daughter, Susan (Tom) Legner of Dwight; four grandchildren, Darrin and Zain Pierce, Brooks, and Edith Bull; three step-grandchildren, Emma, Reid, and Ella Legner; and one brother, Chuck (Barbara) Bull of Fairbury.

Tom had a deep love for his well-kept yard, taking pride in maintaining it meticulously. He also enjoyed cleaning his vehicles, ensuring they were always in pristine condition. However, his greatest joy came from attending his grandchildren's events, cherishing every moment spent with them. Tom dedicated over 30 years of his life working at the post office, where he made lasting contributions and formed many meaningful relationships. He also served on various boards, contributing to his community in many ways.
"He was a loving husband, father, and Grandpa (Gpa). He always took time to say hello and didn't know a stranger."
He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Parish in Fairbury.
