Thomas Hojnacki, 72, Fairbury, died at 4:02 pm Saturday, September 1, 2018 at his residence, Fairbury.

His visitation will be 10:00 to 1:30 pm Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury followed by his funeral service at 1:30 pm. Cremation rites will be accorded following his service.  The family suggests memorials be given to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Mr. Hojnacki was born February 10, 1946 in Chicago, IL the son of Casimir and Anna Jakubowski Hojnacki.  He married Patricia Latkowski on April 27, 1968 in Chicago.  She survives in Fairbury.

Other survivors include a son, James (Julie) Hojnacki, North Aurora, daughter, Janet (James) Dalicandro, Lake in the Hills, two grandchildren, Casey Dalicandro and Jason Katsuleas, four sisters, Pat (Tom) Davis, Chicago, Fran (David) LaMontagne, Roselle, Rosalie (Roger) Lyons, Ohio, and Judy Spinner, Chicago.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Ann Anderson.

Mr. Hojnacki retired as a supervisor in telecommunications at AT&T Longlines in 1999 having worked in Chicago and Atlanta.
