Tona R. Carrano, 43, Peoria, died at 4:14 am Monday, March 21, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Her funeral will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 25, 2022 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with Pastor Dan Robertson officiating.  Burial will be in Chenoa Twp. Cemetery, Chenoa.

Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 am Friday also at the memorial home.  The family suggests memorials be given to the family.

Tona was born August 30, 1978 in Fairbury the daughter of Herschel "Pete" E. and Donna Brackman Meints.  She married Mario Carrano Sr. on April 2, 2011 in Fairbury.  He survives in Peoria.

Other survivors include her mother, Donna Meints, Peoria; step children, Mario A. (Bethany Parga) Carrano Jr, Peoria, James Carrano, Fairbury and Benjamin Carrano, Chatsworth; one brother, Neil Meints, Leroy.

She is preceded in death by her father and one brother.

Tona was a graduate of Prairie Central High School and had attended Heartland Community College.
