Tracy Diane Grider, 51, of Pontiac formerly of Chenoa passed away at 8:52 am on Friday, August 7, 2015 at her residence in Pontiac.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held at 6 pm, Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa; with Pastor David Heath officiating.

Visitation will be 3 to 6 pm, prior to her service also at the funeral home in Chenoa. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family of Tracy D. Grider or the Community Cancer Center, Normal.

Tracy was born July 26, 1964 in Pontiac the daughter of Gerald "Jerry" and Gertrude "Kathy" (Rich) Evans. Her parents preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Amber (Cody Corrigan) Grider of Pontiac; Eddie (Brenda) Grider of Gridley; three grandchildren, Kaden, Eddie and Rhiana Grider; five step-grandchildren, Braden, Jacob, Kaleb, Angelina and Cameran, her children's father, Edwin Grider of Gridley; five siblings, Lori Lazarine and Doug Bee both of Pontiac; Kandy (Tony) Burgess and Scott (Amanda) Bee, both of Chenoa; and Jer Evans of Norwalk, CA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Tracy was a strong and courageous woman. Despite the many challenges and set-backs she faced in her life, Tracy never gave up. Even until the very end she continued to fight for her family that she loved so much. Tracy's "tough girl attitude" with an incredibly big heart and her "gotcha laugh" will forever be missed by all who knew and loved her.
