Obituary
Vallie Virginia Knave, 67, Flanagan, IL died at 9:50 am Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Good Samaritan Home, Flanagan.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa with Pastor Daryl Evans officiating. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, IL.
Visitation will be 1:00 to 1:45 pm Thursday also at the memorial home. The family suggest memorials be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
Mrs. Knave was born November 22, 1946 in Front Royal, Virginia the daughter of Louis and Valley Owens Tharpe. She married Douglas Gene Knave Sr. He died on April 28, 2002.
Surviving are three sons, Douglas (Julie) Knave Jr., Fairbury, IL, Tony (Dana) Knave, Strasburg, Virginia, Willie (Michelle) Knave, Augusta, West Virginia, ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one brother, Louis Cornelius Tharpe, Front Royal, Virginia.
She is preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Cornelius Knave and one daughter, Lisa Virginia Knave.
