Obituary
Verla Dearth, 83, of Hope, IN; formerly of Chenoa, passed away at 7:37 pm, Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Millers Merry Manor, Hope, IN.
Graveside Services will be 10 am, Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Chenoa Twp. Cemetery, Chenoa with Pastor Carrie Carnes officiating. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is in charge of arrangements.
Verla was born October 11, 1929 in Colfax, IL; the daughter of Arthur and Myrtle Brucker. She married Charles E. Dearth. He preceded her in death April 2, 2012.
Survivors include one son, John (Susan) Dearth of Las Vegas, NV; two grandsons, Jay (Katie) Dearth of Columbus, OH; Scott Dearth of USMC Camp Lejeune, NC; two great grandsons, Johnathan and Charlie Dearth; two sisters, Carolyn Hutson of Bloomington and Betty Mosier of Normal.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles and four brothers, Wayne, Olen, Lowell and Gerald Brucker.
The family suggests that memorials be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
