Obituary
Verne E. Swift, 95, Chatsworth died at 4:00 pm Monday, February 4, 2008 at his residence in Chatsworth.
Mr. Swift was born July 22, 1912 in Kenesaw, Nebraska the son of Evert Emerson and Laura Flood Swift.
Surviving is his caregiver, Angel (Scott) Sanders, Chatsworth and their children Kristi, Jess and granddaughter, lil Amia.
He is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Mr. Swift was a lifetime farmer having retired in 1970.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will take place in Chillicothe Cemetery, Chillicothe at a later date. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
