Vernon "Fuzz" Garmon, 88, Pontiac and formerly of Cropsey, died at 2:56 pm Satuday, August 21, 2021 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

Cremation rites have been accorded by Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.  Inurnment will take place in Cropsey Twp. Cemetery at a later date.

Mr. Garmon was born July 10, 1933 near Gibson City, IL the son of Edvin and Affie Martin Garmon.  He married Joan M. Elliott on June 30, 1955 in Cropsey.  She preceded him in death on July 7, 2020.

Mr. Garmon served in the US Army during the Korean War.   He was a member of the Indian Creek Country Club and was a former club champion.

The family suggests memorials be given to the charity of their choice.
