Viola Jean Brown , 64 of Chatsworth, passed away at 9:24 pm, Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at her residence in Chatsworth.

Visitation will be from 2 - 5 pm, Monday, January 3, 2022 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. Prayers will be said at 5 pm, the conclusion of the visitation. Cremation rites will be accorded after the services with an inurnment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family of Viola J. Brown.

Viola was born July 19, 1957 in Charleston, SC; the daughter of Henry and Delores (Stewart) Kay Sr. Her parents 2 brothers, Mark and David Kay; 1 sister, Cathy Burns and 1 granddaughter, Misty Taylor preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Tommy (Jessica) Kay, Christina (Kenneth) Riley, Hillary (Jed) Smith all of Chatsworth; adopted son, Norman Mayer of Forrest; one brother, Henry (Sherri) Kay Jr. of Forrest; 10 grandchildren, Brianna Kay, Meagan Kay, Tyler kay, Domonic Cassity, Mario Carrano, James Carrano, Benny Carrano, Kenny Riley and Grace and Ivy Kay, and one great gra ndson.
