Viola Ruth Hanshew, 77, Forrest, died at 4:37 pm Saturday, November 27, 2021 at her daughter's residence, Forrest.

Visitation will be 3:00 to 5:00 pm Saturday, December 4. 2021 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury follow by a funeral service at 5:00 pm.   Inurnment will take place in Forrest Twp. Cemetery, Forrest at a later date.  The family suggests that memorials be directed to the family.

Mrs. Hanshew was born November 14, 1944 in Fairbury, IL the daughter of Virgil and Emma Lee Sinnett Jupin.  She married Donald Wayne Hanshew.  He precedes her in death.

Survivors include her daughters, Donita Price and Lisa Farris, both of Forrest; eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister and one grandson.
