Violetta Helen Buffano's Obituary
Colfax – Violetta Helen Buffano, 84, of Colfax passed away May 26, 2009 at 8:15 am at her residence.
Visitation will be held from 2-4:00 PM Sunday May 31, 2009 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation.
Mrs. Buffano was born February 21, 1925 in Chicago the daughter of Ascenzo and Mary Diehl Mastronardi. She married Samuel James Buffano in 1948. He died May 23, 2005.
Surviving are three sons, Dave Buffano of Colfax, Alan (Susan) Buffano of Lansing and Ronald (Sheila) Buffano of Elwood; grandchildren, Dustin, Nick, Stephanie, William, Whitney and Joshua Buffano; great-grandson Eric Shomer; brother, Al Mastronardi of FL; sisters, Dorothy Craig of FL and Virginia (Emil) Bernardi of Chicago. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Mrs. Buffano worked at Mall Tool in Chicago and was a seamstress for Marshall Fields.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation.
